Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying customer orders, ensuring the accurate and secure loading of goods, and delivering products in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates excellent driving skills, and consistently delivers outstanding customer service. This position plays a critical role in helping the company meet its delivery targets while maintaining our reputation for punctuality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes.
• Load and unload packages carefully, verifying the accuracy of items before departure and upon delivery.
• Review and confirm customer orders before loading to ensure all items are correct and complete.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Collect payments, provide accurate receipts, and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Log delivery information, including successful and unsuccessful attempts, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to identify and report maintenance needs.
• Refuel and perform routine upkeep such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company delivery protocols at all times.
• Wear company-issued uniforms and uphold a clean and professional appearance.
• Communicate any delivery delays, customer concerns, or vehicle issues to the supervisor promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in a delivery or customer-facing role preferred; experience in sales or logistics is an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate standard manual transmission vehicles.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Work is primarily performed outdoors and in company vehicles, with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Regular lifting, bending, and walking is required, sometimes for extended periods.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, or overtime during peak delivery periods.
