Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure software, products, and systems meet quality standards before deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, bug tracking, performance testing, and software quality control.

This role is open to freshers passionate about software testing and experienced professionals looking to advance their careers in quality assurance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Software Testing & Bug Tracking

  • Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects.
  • Report and track bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.

2. Test Automation & Performance Testing

  • Automate test cases using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
  • Conduct performance, load, stress, and security testing.
  • Optimize test frameworks for speed and accuracy.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with ISO, CMMI, or industry-specific standards.
  • Review product requirements and provide feedback on usability.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve software issues.

4. CI/CD & DevOps Testing

  • Integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth software releases.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed test reports, defect logs, and test case repositories.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect resolutions.

Requirements

Experience Level

  • Fresher: Basic knowledge of testing principles and QA methodologies.
  • Experienced (1-3+ years): Hands-on experience in automation, performance testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools.
  • Experience with Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, Postman, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries for database testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
  • Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript are a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or Certified Selenium Tester are a plus.

Salary & Benefits

  • Entry-Level (Fresher): $60,000–$80,000 per year
  • Experienced (1-3+ years): $80,000–$120,000 per year
