Job Summary
We are looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience in team coordination, site inspection, quality control, and safety enforcement.
This role is open to freshers who are eager to start a career in site supervision and experienced professionals looking for leadership opportunities in construction management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Operations & Supervision
- Oversee construction, maintenance, or renovation projects on-site.
- Ensure all work is completed according to blueprints, specifications, and safety codes.
- Manage materials, equipment, and workforce allocation.
2. Team Coordination & Leadership
- Supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Provide on-site training and guidance to construction teams.
- Resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during work.
3. Safety & Compliance Management
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure workers use protective gear and follow safety protocols.
4. Quality Control & Progress Tracking
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Report progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers or site engineers.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities and incidents.
5. Communication & Reporting
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Provide daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of work while managing costs and resources.
Requirements
Experience Level
- Fresher: Basic knowledge of construction or site management principles.
- Experienced (1-3+ years): Hands-on experience in construction site supervision preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprints, and safety regulations.
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with site management software and project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- OSHA safety certification or Site Supervisor Safety Training (SSST) is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Entry-Level (Fresher): $45,000–$60,000 per year
- Experienced (1-3+ years): $60,000–$85,000 per year
