🔧 About the Role

We’re hiring a Remote Network Administrator to design, configure, secure, and maintain the network infrastructure that powers our global operations. As the backbone of IT operations, you’ll be responsible for ensuring 99.9% network uptime, secure remote connectivity, and scalability across LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and cloud networking environments.

This is a fully remote opportunity with a fast-growing IT team that supports high-availability environments, distributed workforces, and enterprise-grade systems.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, and switches
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and security vulnerabilities
• Administer routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Ubiquiti
• Manage remote access and security via VPNs, IPsec tunnels, and SSL
• Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, latency problems, and DNS failures
• Support VoIP, cloud services (Azure/AWS networking), and endpoint connectivity
• Implement and monitor network security protocols, access control, and firewall rules
• Manage IP addressing schemes, DHCP scopes, DNS zones, and NAT rules
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to support hybrid network models
• Document network architecture, policies, configurations, and changes (change management)

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, NAT, and subnetting
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, ASA, Meraki, FortiGate, or similar hardware
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix)
• Experience with remote access tools, VPN configuration, and network troubleshooting
• Strong skills in packet analysis, logs, and network diagnostics
• Solid understanding of firewall rule sets, ACLs, VLAN trunking, and port security
• Comfortable working with cloud-based networks in AWS, Azure, or GCP

💡 Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or AWS Networking Specialty
• Knowledge of zero trust networking, SD-WAN, and cloud interconnects
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other network automation tools
• Familiarity with VoIP, SIP trunks, or Unified Communications
• Experience in multi-site or global enterprise network environments
