About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in animals, while ensuring the highest standards of care and client service. This role requires a strong medical background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals and diagnose health issues.
  • Provide medical, surgical, and dental care to animals.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and communicate them clearly to pet owners.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries as needed.
  • Educate clients on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and proper animal care practices.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff for efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay current on advances in veterinary medicine, treatments, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, clinic policies, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in [Specify Location/State/Region].
  • Proven experience as a Veterinarian (new graduates with internships may be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatment methods.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools, laboratory procedures, and surgical techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with veterinary management software (e.g., AVImark, Cornerstone).
  • Ability to mentor junior veterinarians or veterinary technicians.
