Description
We’re looking for a curious and analytical Data Scientist / Data Analyst to join our remote team at Link Technical Talent. You’ll use data to drive decisions, uncover insights, and help shape strategies that impact millions.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business teams to build predictive models, analyze large-scale data sets, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze raw data — assess quality, cleanse, and structure it for downstream processing.
- Design accurate, scalable prediction algorithms and analytical models.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to transform analytical prototypes into production-ready solutions.
- Generate actionable insights to drive operational and business improvements.
- Explore new data sources and analytical methods to improve performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field — Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related area.
- 1–2+ years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling.
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning, clustering, and classification techniques.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java, SQL.
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with end-to-end model deployment in production environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset — passion for continuous learning.
- Experience in fast-paced or agile environments.
