Objectives of the Role
- Develop and maintain cutting-edge analytics systems to simplify complex problems.
- Uncover growth opportunities through deep data analysis.
- Design and document data mapping and modeling strategies.
- Create best-practice reports based on findings from data mining and analysis.
- Audit and optimize internal systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with project managers to define key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
- Conduct proactive data analysis to identify performance trends and improvement areas.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using multiple data sources.
- Define and implement data acquisition, transformation, and integration strategies.
- Develop and maintain internal databases and data processing scripts for scalability.
- Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders in clear, compelling formats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data mining, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience writing technical documentation, queries, and reports.
- Advanced SQL and/or Excel skills, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in data modeling, database design, and data segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with programming frameworks and tools such as XML, JavaScript, and ETL processes.
- Practical experience using statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS, or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in team-oriented environments.
