Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and innovative Data Scientist to join our remote analytics team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to solve complex business problems using data, machine learning, and statistical modeling. You’ll transform raw data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and measurable outcomes.
This is a fully remote role, ideal for candidates who thrive in a data-rich, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Build, test, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions using advanced analytics.
- Present insights through clear data visualizations and reports to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to develop data-driven strategies.
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks and experiments.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
- Stay up to date with the latest data science and machine learning tools, trends, and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
- Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical results to business audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Background in deploying models to production (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Docker).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Industry experience in sectors such as healthcare, finance, e-commerce, or SaaS.
