We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and offering insights that will help guide business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and a deep understanding of financial principles to help drive the company’s performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (e.g., budgets, income statements, forecasts) aligned with company goals.
- Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking, variance analysis, and business process evaluations.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize costs and improve financial performance.
- Track financial performance by monitoring variances between actual results and forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and risk assessments for senior stakeholders.
- Perform market, industry, and internal trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and correcting data.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, market trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with management to influence strategic and long-term planning.
- Lead or support initiatives to improve financial processes and policy development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and financial software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with statistical packages for data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience in process improvement or policy development initiatives.
