About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and delivering insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role requires expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, along with strong problem-solving skills to support the company’s performance and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (e.g., budgets, income statements, forecasts) aligned with company goals.
- Develop financial models and perform benchmarking, variance analysis, and business process evaluations.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize costs and improve financial performance.
- Track financial performance by monitoring variances between actual results and forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
- Conduct market, industry, and internal trend analysis to support decision-making.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting, reviewing, and correcting data.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with management on strategic and long-term business planning.
- Lead or support initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and financial software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with statistical packages for data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CFA or CPA.
- Experience in process improvement or policy development initiatives.
