We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize our company’s supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate transportation, inventory, and distribution processes to ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure seamless logistics performance from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistics or transportation issues.
• Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and freight forwarders to negotiate the best shipping rates and service terms.
• Prepare, review, and maintain logistics documents such as shipping manifests, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with import/export laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with company goals.
• Manage inventory levels and update ERP or logistics software systems accurately.
• Generate and present reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and service quality.
• Support continuous improvement projects related to supply chain and logistics processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, shipping documentation, and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, INCOTERMS, and trade compliance regulations.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., APICS, CILT).
