Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical and Health Services Manager to oversee healthcare operations and support service delivery in a remote environment. This role involves managing clinical programs, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing healthcare processes to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a background in healthcare administration, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality care in a digital or hybrid care model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate medical and health services across remote or distributed care teams.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and accreditation standards.
- Oversee clinical workflows, patient care operations, and administrative procedures.
- Analyze data to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership, providers, and support staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Recruit, train, and manage healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
- Implement and manage electronic health records (EHR) and health information systems.
- Monitor budgets, billing processes, and resource allocation.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive patient satisfaction programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2–7+ years of experience in healthcare management, health services administration, or a related leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission).
- Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT tools.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive operational improvements.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage teams in a remote or hybrid setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (e.g., MHA, MPH, MBA with a healthcare focus).
- Experience with telehealth, digital health platforms, or remote healthcare delivery.
- Certification in healthcare management (e.g., FACHE, CPHIMS, PMP).
- Familiarity with quality metrics such as HEDIS, NCQA, or value-based care models.
