Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our remote care team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care through virtual consultations, working in collaboration with supervising physicians and healthcare teams. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and is comfortable using digital health platforms to manage care remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and imaging when appropriate.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative agreements.
- Educate patients on conditions, medications, preventive care, and treatment plans.
- Document all patient interactions clearly and thoroughly in the EHR system.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement and telehealth best practice initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred).
- 2–7+ years of clinical experience as a practicing PA.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Experience providing care in primary care, urgent care, or specialty practice.
- Prior experience with telehealth platforms or remote care delivery is preferred.
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and digital communication tools.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensure in multiple U.S. states or ability to obtain additional state licenses.
- Experience in behavioral health, chronic care, women’s health, or geriatrics.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
- Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant telehealth tools and remote care compliance standards.
