Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and self-driven Software Developer to join our remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software development best practices, and experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
As a remote team member, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.
- Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to improving development processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Go, Ruby).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and/or back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, .NET).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in software development.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal GitHub portfolio.
