Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our remote QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve test coverage
- Maintain and enhance test frameworks and test environments
- Analyze test results and work with teams to resolve issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in test automation
- Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g., using Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Based in the United States (authorization to work in the U.S. required)
