Objectives of this Role

• Create well-structured, scalable, and tested code using best practices for modern web development.
• Develop responsive websites and interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless mobile and desktop display.
• Integrate data from back-end databases and third-party services.
• Establish and maintain workflows for teams, improving collaboration and efficiency.
• Develop testing schedules for cross-browser and multi-device compatibility.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, managers, and clients to gather business and functional requirements, and define project scope.
• Build, maintain, and enhance websites, tools, and operational systems.
• Conduct regression testing, unit testing, and user-acceptance testing to ensure stability and performance.
• Implement requested edits and enhancements, and propose scalable solutions for ongoing improvement.
• Perform UI/UX design and front-end coding, creating reusable objects, components, and wireframes for web pages and email templates.
• Ensure regular file backups and proper version control.
• Contribute to both tactical and strategic development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong dedication to innovative design, usability, and problem-solving.
• Proven experience in designing and developing websites for diverse products and industries.
• Extensive knowledge of:
  • Web applications and programming languages: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
  • Web services: REST, SOAP, APIs
  • Security principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Web UI and responsive design best practices
• Proficiency with CMS platforms, including WordPress and Drupal.
• Experience working with both Windows and Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
