Quality Control Inspector

Established in 1970 by James Vining, Salem Metal has always been associated with family, quality, on-time delivery, and great value. Our business was originally located in a 3,500-square-foot facility in Salem, Mass. The shop caught fire in 1986, making way for the company to move to a 30,000 square-foot-facility in Middleton, Mass. Although our growing business needed the additional space, rebuilding the company after the fire wasn’t easy. It took a great coming together of loyal employees (who didn’t want to work elsewhere) and loyal customers (who promised to return once the shop was operational).
